Kristi is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and Registered Nurse who specializes in breastfeeding medicine related issues and about any latching/pumping/feeding issue you could think of. She works closely with providers to address mothers with low milk supply, hormone related issues, pregnancy and postpartum mood disorders, and thyroid disorders who are breastfeeding and postpartum. She also specializes in tongue/lip tie issues and suck disfunction in babies. She has experience with NICU babies and transitioning them back to the breast, multiples, babies with Down Syndrome, strikes, recurrent plugged duct, lymphatic massage, inducing lactation for adoption and surrogate situations. She loves to teach, and tailors each person’s plan to them specifically, to help each mom meet their breastfeeding goals without exhausting herself.

Kristi was a Registered Nurse at Lutheran Hospital from 2009-2021, working in Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, Newborn Nursery, and some NICU and Peds experience. She was lactation and saw lactating patients throughout the hospital for the last 7 years of her service at the hospital. She also ran a local Peds office for a time and worked in OBGYN offices and developed the first Lactation Program in OBGYN offices in Fort Wayne.
